Skye's Repose

Welcome to the Land of Skye.

Skye's Repose is a game where you explore lonely, floating islands home only to living elementals of magic power, and the ruins of a civilization long forgotten. Befriend the mages who were stuck here years ago, solve the ancient riddles of the land to unlock new powers, and farm and gather resources to create the tools to help you try to get home.

Meet the Mages who came to this land before you, and make new friends as they help you on your quest for answers and freedom! 

Featuring a cast of mages from numerous worlds, offer them gifts and help them with their troubles as you deepen your relationship with them.  They may even offer you  gifts and assistance to help you escape this land.

Explore a mystical land, and uncover the secrets hidden within.  Explore ancient ruins, solve the riddles within, and unlock power beyond your wildest dreams as you search for the clues about this mysterious land.

Featuring a dozen islands filled with ruins from all eras and riddles leading to new abilities hidden around the map, there's always another secret to uncover and answers to be found.

Farm resources and use your magic to automate it all to make life easier.  With the help of your fellow mages you'll find thriving in this world isn't as hard as it may first seem as your mastery of magic improves.

Featuring farmable land with the ability to create mystical crops to grow even the rarest of material, and devices you can place down to make your life easier every step of the way.

 

This project is still in early development, so some features are incomplete, a lot aren't implemented, and some features are not implemented well.  

Additionally, a lot of art is not complete, namely character art and the UI.  I'm a programmer with 0 art skills.  A lot of the art is from asset packs I've gathered over the years, and I'm using AI art for characters until I can hire an artist to make proper art for the game.

Controls:

WASD: movement.
Mouse: Look.
E: Interact.
Scrollwheel: Change Hotbar Position.
Left Click: Activate Hotbar Item.
Left Shift: Sprint
I/Tab: Open/close Inventory.  (Also closes all open inventories.)
P/Escape: Pause game.
J: Open Quest Menu

In-Inventory:
Left-Click: Move item.
Right-Click: Drop Item.
