Elemental Rancher

You found yourself lost on a floating island, a mystical land known as the Elemental Planes where you can wield magic to help you survive alone amid these mysterious islands.

Gameplay:

The gameplay revolves around exploring and uncovering riddles, collecting materials and Elemental powers, and building friendships with the Mages who came to this land before you.

Solve riddles to uncover new abilities and unlock secrets.

Harvest elementals to craft new items and build new upgrades.

Farm to make materials for gifts for the Mages.

And uncover the secrets of the Elemental Planes, lost in time as you try to uncover who you really are.

Controls:

WASD: movement.
Mouse: Look.
Scrollwheel: Change Hotbar Position.
E: Interact.
Left Click: Activate Hotbar Item.
Left Shift: Sprint
I/Tab: Open/close Inventory.  (Also closes all open inventories.)
P/Escape: Pause game.
J: Open Quest Menu

In-Inventory:
Left-Click: Move item.
Right-Click: Drop Item.

Testing:

I'm still testing things out, so I'll sometimes upload things with multiple gameplay options to let you test them all out and give me feedback on what you prefer.  Feel free to DM me however you want, or join my Discord to discuss it!

Currently, the (Original) version has first-person internal monologue, while the (Narration) version has dialogue where a narrator has a voice for the protagonist.

The Project:

This is a project I made awhile ago to first learn Unreal Engine, and I wasn't able to keep working on during school as many other school projects took my time and I didn't have many assets for it. 

Some of those projects panned out a bit, most went nowhere, and now I'm coming back to this project because I got burnt out and this project is fun and comfortable to work on.  And I have so many new assets to play with, so I'm hoping I can make something

Unfortunately, that's involved totally remaking 90% of the code of this game, I expect by the end of March to have as much of a vertical slice of the game as I had at the start of January, except it'll be much better designed and much easier to work with.
